Numerous extensions indicate Microsoft Office documents, standard examples are .doc, .ppt, .mdb, and .xls. These plug-ins from Microsoft allow a user who does not have Microsoft Office to view and print various Microsoft Office formats from the browser. Please note that if your computer has Microsoft Office installed, you do not need this viewer.
